Thank You All Who Made This History Possible

by Dotcom Note on January 20, 2009

At the age of 47, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the USA today at 12-noon. On Nov 4 Barack Obama made history by becoming the first non-white president of the USA, thanks to the support of 55% of American who put trust on his candidacy for the Unites States president after eight years of nightmares.

As I see the Republicans praising this historical day, I cannot forget the pre-election days when the same people were set to destroy him by branding him as a terrorist, a socialist, a liberal, unpatriotic, does not wear a flag pin, anti-American, a mystery man and all other names designed to make this day impossible. They did not want to give him a chance based on his policies.

Now the same people are saying that Americans made it possible. Folks, I am sorry. It was the people who supported him and believed in him, people who did not buy the smear techniques of the right wingers, people who thought his policies were the right policies for this moment in the history. Those are the people who made this possible and I salute them for their support through out his campaign.

Yes, it is a day that will be remembered in the world history. I hope that we should never forget what happened during the campaign – some people were set to destroy him and some people put their trust and money on his ideas of changing America for the betterment of all humanity.
