An internet marketer sent me an email that said, “…using this new product you will be racking up huge Clickbank commissions.” How many times I have heard the same theme”, I wondered. Anyway, this new product is called Commission Blueprint 2.0. It has 40 video tutorials and I assume 20 of them will tell you what is Clickbank and how to sign up with Clickbank.

I immediately clicked on the link and landed on the sales page. There was this video on the home page – I guy holding an apple laptop. As usual to my annoyance, this video starts playing automatically and the guy announces his name. He tells you why he is doing this incredibly expensive internet information poducts. He is incredibly blessed with all the profits he has made (and now he wants you to buy his expensive product so that he can make more money).

He talks about freedom and the comfort of affiliate marketing and the nice vacations he is taking (by selling you those expensive products). He shows you boats, expensive cars, and stuff like that. He is like Buddha who has attained his Nirvana and wants you teach his methods. But unlike Buddha, you need to hand him over close to $500 so that he can enjoy his life using your money.

He keeps on telling that you too can do it. Everybody can do it. He wants to make sure everybody is ready with their credit card. He tells you that you only need time and efforts. I agree with him. But immediately he added that you also need Commission Blue Print 2.0 for $500. Unless you have his Commission Blue Print 2.0, he cannot live the luxury life that he is showing you in his video.

He has covered every thing in his so called Affiliate Marketing course. Market research, keyword research, SEO, social media, AdWords, you name it, he has it. You need useless tools, he has those also.

He wants you too read those boring testimonials. He also shows you lots of screen-shots of people making hundreds of thousands dollars using affiliate marketing. He shows you a PayPal balance of $1.7 million. I was wondering why he is keeping $1.7 million in his PayPal account. No sane person will do that. May be, he wants to take a screen capture so that he can convince you to buy his product.

I could not see any money back guarantee for this product. It may be there but it is not obvious to me. And, here comes the disclaimer part. I love this disclaimers. As I suspected, you may not earn any money at all after purchasing his product. If that is the case, you cannot blame him for taking your hard earned money to advance his lifestyle. You may be dumb and don’t know what the hell you’re doing.

So, if you have $500 to throw away, buy a bunch of videos and access to useless tools branded as Commission Blueprint 2.0 to make somebody rich. It is your call, buddy.

Buying Too Much Internet Marketing Crap

Today I got an email from one of those Internet marketers who regularly fill my inbox. However, the email has some value so I’m going to share it with all. It is about buying internet marketing crap – like those ebooks, expensive courses, viddeos, etc. I agree with this guy. I find most of them are truely crap but their prices keep going up and up. I am producing the email verbatim below. Hope this helps you not spend your money on buying craps that promise you how to make money online without doing any work.

While I was spending my time learning and reflecting, I realized that a lot of people are spending unnecessary money on things that they do not need. And here’s my thought…

Q: What’s holding you back?

A: Buying too much crap and reading too many emails. How do I know what to buy and what to read?

01 : Buy what you KNOW you will use.

There’s nothing wrong with buying just to learn if you have the money. If you don’t, then buy what you see yourself DOING.

02 : If you have time, then buy what requires MORE work.

Yes, you read that right. Things that allow the “lazy” to enter the market place clutter the profit landscape. There are literally millions of junk sites and blogs because of the ability to “scrap” content into sites.

However, the person who decides to DO more has more control over the results. He or she can also build a more stable business.

If you’re willing to do a little more work, you’ll almost be alone in your niche.

03 : Buy based on interpreted value.

If you have a history of incomplete projects – a pattern of remaining reclusive and disconnected – you believe ahead of time that it’s a scam – then save your money.

On the other hand, if you have found gold in many of the products you’ve bought, you love being around people and love meeting new people – you can hear an idea and know what it could mean to your business – then the event will be awesome!

That’s true for ANY purchase.

It is all about how you pull. But I was little disturbed because it said it would turn me into a machine. “Oh, no I don’t want want to be a machine”, I thought. It guarantees that it will definitely turn me into a machine. But I thought, “Oh well, if I can pull profit who really cares if I am a machine. I can always pretend to be a human.” I immediately turned myself into a machine and started reading the long sales copy that is humanly impossible to read without going insane.

Like all other web sites, training programs and anything webby in the vast ocean of the web, you need to append 2.0 to your stuff to make it really stand out. When you make it 2.0, it says that you have some bold ideas and new stuff. It is not your old grandma’s web. This program also appends 2.0 to its name, like Affiliate Classroom 2.0. I don’t know what was in the 1.0 but this one definitely has more stuff so that you can pull easily.

As I keep reading this long and boring sales copy landing page, I wonder why these things are not becoming 2.0. We need 2.0 sales copy.

“To make money, you need a 7th or 8th grade education”, the sales copy says. So, listen up you all who are struggling in high schools. Just show the finger to your teacher and enroll in this guy’s course. He will make sure that you pull plenty of something in your life.

But you need $100 investment to start your online affiliate business. Don’t worry, you will find the money if you look hard at your expenses. I bet you’re blowing that much every month on useless stuff anyway.

So, what is affiliate marketing? It is the promotion and advertisement of other people’s useless products by you. You will mostly promote useless products that people really don’t need in their life but they always buy.

Like any other sites of this genre, it display plenty of images with five and six figure incomes made by some guy peddling affiliate products. Some of the highlights of the training that you would receive:

Lo and behold, there is some thing for me to buy. “I definitely need this one”, the sales copy says, “as soon as I finish my affiliate training.”

But the guy is generous. He is giving me a 30 day free trial and after that he will start billing my credit card every month. Also, this deal that they are giving me to subscribe to this program will not be offered again. Why, I wonder? Why I have to make up my mind right now. Why can’t I just sign up for $1. No, the Jedi Master has taught him all the tricks and he is using them faithfully. I could not find a way to escape from the trap. So I gave up.

I am sorry to report to you all that I could not successfully enroll in the program for $1. May be you can get lucky. If you want to pull something and drop out of high school after 8th or 9th grade, do so now and enroll in Affiliate Class Room 2.0.

The story is very compelling. A 34 year man and a whiz-kid from California rake in millions of dollars by swiping their special magic affiliate card. All these secrets are now revealed in Day Job Killer manual. I still did not get it. Is the the man from NYC or the guy from California? May be both. They happened to stumble upon this magic card that they took to Clickbank and cleaned the bank there.

You need to read their letter and only their letter. No body has it except these two guys from NYC and California. Which city of California? I don’t know. These stories are not always consistent. One guy is from a city and other is from a state. May be the other person is a country boy from California who grew up in a barn without any running water. But really who cares? You only need to care that they are making millions online from affiliate marketing.

So these two guys, after making millions, one day decided that they wanted to write an ebook. I am not sure if the whole thing was revealed to them in their dreams or they attended the Jedi Master’s mind control program and outsourced the ebook writing to someone one in Philippines.

For the non-believers, there are plenty of proofs. The Jedi Master has told them to put plenty of proofs to turn the non-believers into true believers. One of the proof is from a guy who also sells a ebooks and affiliate coaching program about how to make millions from Clickbank.

These two nice guys are on a mission to expose the secret formula that only the privileged ones have access to. One of the guy claims that he was a victim of all those make money products and now he wants to make sure that he contributes to the victimdom by creating more victims.

Wait, let me check who is the creator. No, it does not say anything at least on the first paragraph of the long sales letter. The income figures are very recent. I have this system and I am going to ask for $1,000 to reveal my super secrets.”

I am sorry, the video (not the one I mentioned above) is a testimonial from somebody who is absolutely delighted about the secret CPA program and he has made thousands. The are few other testimonial videos. A gal who made $1,300 in her first week. The last testimonial is encouraging people who are making small amounts of money from CPA marketing, to enroll in the course to increase their earnings.

So, it does not matter. The creator has figured it out and would help newbies and people who are already doing CPA marketing for mere $1,000. Don’t worry you are laid off from your job. Here is passport to show the finger to your former boss.

I get this email in my inbox that delighted in my ignorance about CPA (cost per action) marketing. He wants me to watch his video at Affiliate Jump site and to sign up with my email so that he can give more sales pitches about some kind of CPA course, guranteed enrollment in CPA programs, instant landing page creation, webinars and more. These webinars and interviews with people who talk about how they are making millions are a sure way to waste lots of your time.

Affiliate Jump would give me all the tools I need to rake in unimaginable profits from CPA marketing as long as I subscribe to the membership site for a monthly fee. I can make six-figure income from the comfort of my home. Who can resist?

I sure cannot resist. So I rushed to the site where I can take my affiliate marketing to the next level, as they claimed. No surprise there. Like hundreds of other sites, this one also has a video and an opt-in form with some nice graphics on the right hand side. He promises to give me instant free access to a $97 value “CPA Profits Revealed” video and ebook.

For his kind generosity, I have to only enter my email in the opt-in box. I was wondering why this guy wants my email again. He already has it. He has already sent me an invitation to watch his video. Why he wants it again?

Any way I wanted to watch the video. I get very impatient while watching long internet marketing videos. I looked at the length of the video. It was 2:43 minutes. I said to myself, “good, it is short and I can watch it without going crazy.” The guy in a t-shirt announces his name and tells me that Affiliate Jump is my ticket to CPA marketing.

He again reiterated that my ignorance about CPA is good and that only the “big boys” should know about CPA. He will help me, for a monthly fee, put myself in the same league with that small previelged group of people who are destined to know CPA and profit from it.

Ok, it confirmed my earlier belief that there is a membership to Affiliate Jump. You have to pay every month and you will be able to create web sites just by clicking a button. I was intrigued. This the the holy grail of internet marketing. Web sites at the click of a button? These instantly created sites will be designed to promote CPA programs. All you have to do is bring traffic to these sites. It is that simple.

As it peaked my curiosity about the instant website creation, I entered my email and went inside the protected area to watch another video. This is a f*cking long video (44 minutes). I had to fast forward it to skip the craps and see only the part where a website was built just by clicking a button.

What I saw in the video made me fell off my chair. I am may be wrong and if so, please correct me by posting a comment. But this is what I believe is one click site creation solution. You create the site using as a sub-domain in one of their main domains. Your site is a sub-domain of a main domain owned by Affiliate Jump. And the site has a bunch of banners pointing to CPA merchant sites. What a genius idea!

You promote the site and send traffic to it but to create the site and enroll in the CPA program, you pay a monthly subscription fee to Affiliate Jump. Even if you cannot bring in real customers, Affiliate Jump will always make money from your subscription fee. What a wonderful business model.
