Staying Positive To Attract Prosperity

If what you want is wealth and prosperity and to fulfill your dreams, then focusing on poverty or scarcity will not move you in the right direction. Remember – what you focus on expands! So, staying positive is the only way to attract prosperity.

If you study poverty you get more poverty; if you focus on wealth and abundance you get more wealth and abundance. This does not mean that focusing on one or the other will automatically bring about those scenarios. What does happen is that when people focus on poverty or scarcity they put into place action that supports the belief system of poverty.

An example – the media tells us that “there are no jobs” so people believe that and quit looking for jobs. People with an abundant mentally believe that there are plenty of jobs for everyone and they may have to explore different avenues to create a job.

People’s favorite reason for not pursuing their dreams are “the economy.” If the economy is on the rise, people get Inflation Elation Fixation. If the economy is slowing down, they get Recession Depression Obsession. If the economy is stable, people will shake their heads slowly and mutter something about the “stagnant economy.” Do any of these scenarios sound familiar?

Economically we are facing challenging times. Yet people who have chosen to see the abundance or the opportunities, are making “lemonade out of lemons” and are thriving. These people are not focusing on the news, the drama, or the trauma because they know these times and challenges will pass.

If you have dreams that you put on a shelf “until things get better” it is time to take your dreams off the shelf and take control of moving your life forward.

Begin to focus on what you want, what you need to do to have what you want, surround yourself with positive and abundant people, read inspirational books, quit listening to the negative news, honor and embrace your dreams today.

Action is always the key to success and prosperity. In our world there is not a lack of anything – money, jobs, happiness, success, love, joy, etc. Lack only exists in our minds not in the world. Ask yourself – “what have I been unwilling to do to live the life I desire” then start doing those things. Quit waiting for life to be “better” – go out and make it better.

I recently heard a quote that stated – “if you think you have all time in the world, then that is how long it will take you to be successful.” Choose to be successful and prosperous today.

One of the most important concepts in building an online business is the implementation of personal development growth strategies.

As an entrepreneur, you’re your business, so it is critical to learn everything about who you really are and what you want to accomplish, and to set goals that will help you achieve that ideal. Personal development growth and the attainment of a higher standard in various areas will be a constant source of deep satisfaction, happiness and joy that will last a lifetime.

Know Thyself

Before you can set out on the personal development growth journey, you must take an honest look at yourself and what you want your life to be like. While this is true on a business level, you are not a one-dimensional being, and so you must also consider your growth in other areas of life, such as your relationships, spirituality, physical health, and financial well-being.

What are your strengths? What weaknesses do you have that you would like to strengthen? Setting goals in each of these areas, and actively working toward them each day, will bring about major changes in time. These changes will also positively impact who you are and how you do business. In turn, you will attract like-minded businesses partners and customer as you grow. Spend a few moments, or as long as it takes, to write down some long-term goals. It will be time well spent.

Break It Down

We have all heard the joke “How do you eat an elephant?” (One bite at a time.) Your real desires in life may seem unreachable, but if you take them step by step, all things are possible. Now that you have your goals written on paper, consider the steps necessary to realize each one. Write down each step and set a reasonable time frame in which you expect to complete each task.

It may be best to choose two or three main goals to work on at one time. Start with at least one goal that will be relatively easy to attain. Reaching this “easy” goal will give you a sense of accomplishment that will encourage you to keep pursuing your plan of action.

Make The Time

These days it is difficult to do everything that we want to do. Our careers, our families and many other responsibilities seem to demand all of our time, and all we can think about at the end of the day is getting a few hours of sleep so we can do it all over again tomorrow. It is a rat race that never seems to end.

Though this “busyness” becomes an obstacle to our personal development growth, it is all the more reason to carve out a few moments of every day to rejuvenate your mind and keep yourself on course for the goals you have set for yourself. Make this a priority — a daily task that you wouldn’t think of neglecting — like brushing your teeth or taking a shower.

Personal development growth will not be achieved with a “hit or miss” attitude. Consistent action in the direction of a goal is the only way real change will come.

Learn From Others

One of the most effective forms of self-development is to read books by those who have achieved what you are trying to accomplish in your life. If your goal is to be a millionaire, learn about other millionaires and how they made their fortunes.

More importantly, learn the principles that they live by. The more knowledge you have, the fewer pitfalls you will encounter in your quest for a fulfilling life. With the convenience of the Internet, it has never been easier to learn. Everything you could ever want to know about practically anything is literally at your fingertips.

There are no excuses for remaining in a stagnant state. If you need motivation, find it. It is all around you. You just have to open your eyes and ears — and take action.

A Motivation Technique To Make Money Online

In the last week, I saw some great product launches that promised you easy money for less work and super secret formulas to riches. Some of these programs will definitely put you, the aspiring online marketer, in more debts if you’re struggling for money and need some quick money to pay your bills. Some of the highlights of last week’s launches are: a Post Card Mailing System for $2,995, an unbelievable system of Copy and Paste to Make Money Online if you join some Affiliate Classroom, another high priced course called CPA Tsunami, and much more. Today, I will talk about a motivation technique to make money online. And it is free. You don’t have to join any program.

You see, I believe in making money online idea because I do make money online. But I don’t believe that you can start making money online simply because you join a program that promises pie in the sky; and unfortunately most of them do. One of the most important ingredient of making money online is the motivation.

The Internet Marketers believe that you are motivated and inspired when you see people driving fast cars, enjoying expensive vacations, or living in beach front houses. If you are motivated by these factors and wasting your time watching these type of videos, then I am sorry to tell you that the Internet Marketer has found the right person to hawk their products.

I sign up to receive information about many product launches. There is no other way. I have to give them my email address because the Internet Marketers want to fill my inbox with sales pitches, disguised as valuable information, inspirational stories, etc. Sometimes I have to also give my phone number. I don’t lie. I give my real phone number.

Many times I get calls from Internet Marketing companies and their first question is, “why do want to start a business? why do you want to make money?” These type of questions are extremely moronic for me. As soon as I hear it, I know that they are looking for people whom they can offer motivational speeches to sell their products. Often I reply, “I want to make money for the same reason you want to make money by selling your stuff to me.“

When they ask these type of questions, they are trying to find your weakness and exploit it. For example, if you say “I want to start a business because I want to quit my job.” Now they can tailor their sales pitches and make you feel good that you can easily quit your job if you join their programs. This is exactly how it works. So, be aware of what you are getting into when you are confronted with these types of questions.

You definitely need motivation to succeed in any business and online business is no different. But the real question is how do you know if you have the true motivation that will lead you to success? Or how do you develop that motivation? The first test is the time you are spending in acquiring free or low cost information and digesting it to knowledge.

If you believe that you can make millions by joining a program, specially an expensive program, then you are trying to take the easy path which may not lead to your success.

Lots of information that you typically get when you join a program is already there in the Web for free. You have to just find it. You may counter my argument by saying that, “what if I don’t want to spend my time in finding free information which I can buy it for a price and save my time.“

In that case, you have to first put a value to your time. Let’s say some information costs you $20 but you can get that same information for free if you spend one hour searching for it. What do you do? You need to ask yourself, “can I make $21 doing something else in the same amount of time I am going to spend searching for the free information?” If you can make $21, go buy that information. Otherwise, get motivated to find that information for free.

So, get yourself motivated by searching for free information that you need today.

Want to Succeed in Online Business? Establish Your Personal Brand

Whether you are a freelancer, internet marketer, offline business owner, or a recent college graduate who is looking for a job, you need to create a strong and professional online presence to succeed in today’s business world. How do you create an online profile that is recognizable and trustworthy? Follow the steps in this article and within a couple of months you will establish a polished online personal brand for yourself.

1. Get a domain. A top level domain, preferably a dot com domain, is a must for your personal brand. It can be a your name, your business name or some other assumed name that you want to associate yourself with. If you already own an offline business you can start with your business name.

Finding a short domain name is almost impossible these days. In most cases, you will be able to find a three words domain name easily. If your own name is somewhat unique, you can be that lucky one whose name is not already taken by domain squatters.

Use DomainBot to do your domain research. When you enter one or more keywords in the DomainBot search box, the website will suggest a large number of available domains that are different variations of your keywords. If you like a domain, you can directly register the domain with one of the domain registrars like godaddy or 1and1.

2. Get a website. After you register a domain, you need to get a web host to host your website. If you are absolutely not going to spend any money for web hosting, sign up for Google’s Blogger platform to start a blog. It is free. Use your own registered domain, instead of the default sub domain that Google offers for Blogger platform.

If you are ready to spend $25 a month, you can sign up for a reseller account at Hostgator. With a reseller account, you can create unlimited websites. Hostgator offers a commercial script library called Fantastico that automates installation of web applications in your sites. Start with installing a Word Press blog.

3. Get your globally recognized avatars. A globally recognized avatars or gravatar is a picture that follows you from site to site appearing next to your name when you do things like commenting in a blog, posting in web forums.

You can use your own picture or a professionally designed graphic image for your gravatar. If you are using a graphic picture, make it unique and get it done professionally. If it is your own picture, take the picture in a lighted area showing your face clearly.

4. Start a blog. Pick a few topics that you are interested in. One of them should be your chosen profession or business niche. Also pick topics related to your hobby or something that you want to learn more about.

Create an about page in your blog, put your avatars and tell your story in short 300-600 words. Make it interesting, intriguing, or humorous.

Go to Technorati, a blog directory, and search your topics to find blogs related to your interests. Subscribe to a dozen high quality, popular blogs using Google reader. Make a habit of reading a few interesting articles in your niche every day.

Now start writing your own articles for your blog regularly. If you like writing, you can write couple of times a week. If you have hard time coming up with topics to write about, start with a few articles a month and slowly work towards one article per week.

5. Visit blogs and forums related to your topic of interest. Leave insight full comments in other blogs and create interesting posts in forums. Create a forum signature with your gravatar in every forum you join.

Use a back link to your blog in your signature. When you create a post in a forum, your signature will be appended to your post. When you post a comment in a blog, use the URL of your blog and your gravatar name. You will be instantly recognized.

6. Create Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin Profiles. Facebook and twitter are two popular social media sites with millions of users. Facebook is mainly used for networking with like minded persons and Twitter is for sharing short timely messages about news, industry trends, interesting articles, and if you are doing any interesting thing. Linkedin is for exchanging information, ideas, and opportunities with professionals in your field.

Update Facebook status and post twitter messages every day. You can start with sharing interesting articles that you have read, productivity tips, interesting pictures, etc. You will soon find people start following you in Twitter if you are posting interesting things every day. Using Facebook’s friend suggestion tool, you can request friendship with others in the Facebook network.

7. Learn and use search engine optimization (SEO). It is a very valuable instrument at your disposal to propel you websites and social media profile pages for higher search engine rankings. You don’t have to be a professional in search optimization, just learn the basics of SEO and apply them whenever you create contents.

You don’t need to buy any expensive books or sign up for extensive training program. Use free information available online. You can start with SEOBook site and download some free ebooks on search engine optimization.

5 Surefire Ways to Achieving Your Goals

Whether you want to quit smoking, loose weight, or save enough money for that fabulous vacation, you need to set a goal and try to achieve it one step at a time. It is not always easy. For myriad reasons, we fall off the wagon and never bother to get on board.

A commitment to achieving your goal is the key to success. But knowing how to reinforce your commitment from time to time so that you don’t go astray is also important. Reinforcing commitments regularly reminds us to catch the next train when we miss the one we are on board. The techniques described in this article will help you in reinforcing your commitments to achieving your goals.

1. Set your goals in measurable terms and take small steps. Write your goals as precisely as possible. Instead of saying “I will loose weight”, write down “I will loose 30 lbs in the next three months”. Also, break it down into small steps. For example, “I will loose 10 lbs a month for three months.”

By setting your goals in measurable terms, you will have a solid idea of what successful completion of your goal means. By breaking down into small steps, you will be able to measure your success regularly and change your course if you are not meeting your intermediate goals.

3. Always day dream the success of completing your goal. As bad as it sounds, it is a very powerful tool. Once you get immersed in your day dreams, start developing emotional feelings about it. Make plans for all the things you are going to do once you have achieved your goal.

For example, plan for what you are going to do in your vacation, look around for dresses that you want to buy once you have lost those pounds, or open a new saving account where you want to put the extra money once you start reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke.

4. Start a blog. Personal blog is an excellent way to record your goals, intermediate successes and failures. Google offers a free blog platform called blogger. Create an account for the blogger service and start recording your goals, why you want to pursue it, what is holding you back and your feelings when you achieve success.

Start reading a few self improvement blogs, post comments on those blogs, and share links to those blogs in your own posts. You will get lots of good ideas and insights from others’ blogs and receive tips and encouragements from readers’ feedbacks in your own blog. Your blog will motivate others to take actions. You can also earn money from Google’s AdSense program.

5. Create a facebook group and invite others to join you in setting and achieving goals together. This is a new type of social support group using social media. You will learn from each others and share information to keep everybody on track. Publish your blog posts and other interesting and informative posts from other blogs in your facebook group.

To achieve your goal, you have to take small bites one at a time and measure your success regularly. You need to get engaged and develop emotional attachment to your goals. Online tools like blogs and facebook groups help you develop passions and share them with others.
